Scottsdale AirCenter Granted Access to Reagan National

Scottsdale AirCenter has earned DCA Access Standard Security Program (DCASSP) approval to handle corporate aircraft and charter departures destined for Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, according to a City of Scottsdale, Ariz., news release.

Scottsdale Airport is the only approved DASSP general aviation access point in Arizona.

Because of unique aviation security needs in the capital, a maximum of 48 GA flights are allowed in and out of Reagan National each day. Operators must arrive from an approved airport such as Scottsdale and meet the security requirements of the DASSP and TSA.

“This is something that a lot of people wanted, and we are happy to be able to offer this service to our customers,” Scottsdale AirCenter general manager Tommy Walker said.
