Euro Jet Appoints Paul Lourenco as OCC Manager

Euro Jet announced the appointment of Paul Lourenco to lead its Operations Control Center (OCC) in Prague, Czech Republic.

Paul brings over 20 years of aviation experience where he has the distinction of having worked for both the world’s largest commercial airline and also the world’s largest private jet operator.

Utilizing his years of aviation experience, Paul will continue Euro Jet’s highest level of flight and ground operations support that it provides every day to its hundreds of customers. Paul will manage the Prague based team of 24/7 multilingual dispatchers that make up this centralized operation coordinating over 8,000 flights a year and countless requests for permits, fuel, catering, and crew hotels and transportation.

For the past 17 years, Paul worked at NetJets Europe in Lisbon, Portugal. While there he worked his way up to become Director of the NetJets Europe Flight Center. In this role, he oversaw a team of 86 staff that coordinated all flight operations, including flight dispatch, ground handling, aircraft scheduling, and crew resource planning and travel.

Prior to working for NetJets Europe, Paul spent three years at American Airlines based at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York. While there he held numerous positions, including International Departure Coordinator, and Customer Service Agent.

“We could not be more pleased to have hired someone with Paul’s high level of experience and professional temperament.  Euro Jet’s top priority is and always will be providing our customers with the highest level of service. We expect to end this year with over 20 percent growth. While this is fantastic news, it also brings with it the challenge of having to ensure Euro Jet will always provide the best service under any circumstance and always be working on ways to do it even better. This requires hiring the best flight operations dispatchers out there and continued IT development. Paul is the perfect person to lead us through this period of growth, development, and continued customer care,” says Charlie Bodnar, CEO of Euro Jet.
