1) What sets your company apart from the competition?

We believe customer service and customer satisfaction should be the number one priority in this business. We operate a 135 Argus gold-rated aircraft charter service that has been featured on the cover of Twin & Turbine magazine. We are also a Phillips 66 branded FBO. We do flight instruction and maintenance, so we understand the industry inside and out. We have some of the most experienced pilots in the world, with the president of our company at more than 40,000 hours PIC time and our Vice-President at more than 25,000. Our aircraft charter mantra is safety first and our record speaks for itself. In 2008, Steve Lyddon was awarded the Pilot Safety Award from the NBAA. Our charter fleet is very diverse and we have everything from a single-engine 210 up to a Beechjet 400A. Our certified line service technicians meet the immediate needs of each passenger and crewmember from arrival to departure. We offer quick turn-around, and are nationally recognized for our service by earning the Phillips Performance Center Endorsement.


2) How do attract new customers?

Most of our new charter customers are through brokers or word-of-mouth. About 80 percent of our business is repeat customers. On the FBO side, we take pride in bringing back a new customer time and time again with our quick services and our competitive Jet-A and 100LL fuel prices. We strive to give every customer the same quality service, whether you are in a 150 or a Gulfstream. Our customer service personnel can help make your trip to Liberal, Kansas, a pleasurable one.


3) What new features do you have at your location(s)?

A few years back we had a horrendous fire that caused a total loss of our FBO facilities. While at first this seemed heartbreaking, we used the opportunity to expand and build even better facilities with a conference room, pilot’s lounge, flight planning room and new bathrooms.


4) What services/amenities do you provide?

We have on-demand charter available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as well as: catering, discounted hotel reservations, car rental reservations, GPU, oxygen and nitrogen service, heated hangar, courtesy cars, complimentary ice, tea and lemonade, lav service, free tie-downs after hours, fueling and a full-service maintenance shop. Our airport is also easy to get and out of, with Kansas City Center available on the ground.


5) Date your company started business?

We moved to our current location (KLBL) from Lamar Colorado in October, 1990.

6) How many people on staff?

We have 17 employees.


7) What is your location or locations?

We are located in Liberal, Kansas (KLBL). Our FBO is midfield at the Liberal Mid-America Regional Airport.


8) What is the one thing you want pilots to know about your location?

We have competitive Jet-A and 100LL fuel prices as well as no ramp, facility, tie-down, landing or overnight charges.
