1) What sets your company apart from the competition?
Meridian Teterboro is a full-service, private aviation company headquartered at Teterboro Airport (TEB) in Teterboro, NJ, located just minutes from New York City. It is the closest general aviation airport to Manhattan. Meridian has 70 years of business aviation experience, and an award-winning customer service team.
Our new FBO, Meridian Hayward, is located at Hayward Executive Airport (HWD) in Hayward, CA. The airport is centrally located between San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland, in the heart of the San Francisco Bay area. The airport has no curfew and no commercial airline traffic because it’s the only general aviation-specific airport in the Bay area.
Meridian also operates businesses that include Air Charter, Aircraft Management, and Aircraft Maintenance. Meridian has charter sales offices located at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) and Sonoma County Airport (STS) in California.

In order to attract new customers and to compete effectively in the New York and San Francisco markets, we must continue to offer an unparalleled customer service experience to our existing customers.
3) What new features do you have at your location(s)?
Everything about our Hayward location is new!
4) What services/amenities do you provide?
Both Teterboro and Hayward facilities feature the services and amenities that discerning passengers and flight crews should expect to find when traveling through a Meridian FBO, including: professionally-trained customer service and line service teams; elegant main lobbies; business centers; conference rooms; pilot briefing areas; pilot lounges; coffee bars; kitchen/catering areas; sleep rooms; showers and locker rooms; rental cars and crew cars. In addition, our Teterboro facility has a theater and a gym.
5) What is the date your company started business?
In 1946, Ken Forester, Sr. and his brother-in-law, both U.S. Army Air Force pilots during WWII, formed an aviation company that has evolved into today’s Meridian at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. In 2016, 70 years later, the founder’s son, Ken Forester, Jr., has just opened the company’s second FBO at Hayward Executive Airport in California.
