Jody Fischer Promoted to Director of Flight Operations for Weather Modification International

Jody Fischer has been promoted to Director of Flight Operations for Weather Modification International (WMI). Fischer has been part of the WMI team serving many roles for over 17 years, most recently holding the position of Chief Pilot.

"Jody has been instrumental to the operational success of WMI over the past two decades. His experience along with a focus on operational safety and efficiency provides the foundational leadership necessary to lead flight operations for many years to come,” says Neil Brackin, President WMI.

Fischer is an aviation professional with over 17 years of pilot experience in special missions including cloud seeding and atmospheric research aircraft operations. He has served as pilot in command for several operational and research projects both domestically and in Canada, Africa, and India. Fischer also serves as a Part 135 charter pilot for WMI’s sister company Fargo Jet Center. Recognized as an industry leader, Fischer is also active in the Weather Modification Association as a certified operator and a recipient of Wilbur E.
