Sheltair Empowers Future Aviators with Pledge to Support Embry-Riddle's Project Liftoff

Sheltair announces its formal commitment to support Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's O'Maley College of Business Project Liftoff Program. The family-owned Fixed Base Operation and real estate development company, which supports young aviation professionals, has pledged a multi-year formal financial commitment to the aviation program through May 2025.

Designed to bring underrepresented members into the aviation industry, Liftoff funds each student's undergraduate education so students can focus on their academic and personal/professional growth.

Beyond its financial contribution, Sheltair is also committed to helping students with speaking engagements, internships, and job-shadowing opportunities to benefit from the real-life experiences of working as an aviation professional.

In addition to scholarship monies and experiential opportunities, students within the Liftoff Program benefit from increased mentorship, tutoring and advising relationships, and early access to campus for a smooth transition to the university. All Project Liftoff students major or minor in business to ensure they have the acumen for success in future leadership roles.
