Hangar Ten at MKC Now Open 24/7

As a follow-on to the recent grand opening of Phase II, Hangar Ten at MKC is expanding its hours of operations to 24 hours, seven days per week. 

The new hours correspond with an increase in customer demand for additional access to the new 55,000-square-foot facility, located at the Northwest end of the Kansas City, Mo., Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport (MKC), Designed as a cultural departure from traditional airport service operations, the new aviation services complex combines a blend of gracious Midwest hospitality, unique customer amenities and bold environmentally friendly elements.

With a restored Lockheed “Connie” Constellation as a backdrop, the grand opening of Phase II of the Hangar Ten aviation services complex was celebrated with Missouri Governor Jay Nixon and owner James Stowers among those cutting a ceremonial ribbon. The new facility began expanded operational hours to 24/7 on November 3.
