Avfuel Corporation Announces the Addition of South Florida-Based Orion Jet Center (OPF) to Branded FBO Network

Avfuel Corp. announced that it was continuing to expand its network of FBO dealers. The most recent alliance brings Opa-Locka-based Orion Jet Center into the Avfuel family. As an Avfuel-branded FBO, Orion Jet Center will supply Avfuel aviation fuel and related services to and from South Florida.

One of the most notable features, aside from incredible customer service, is Orion Jet Center’s separate VIP handling facility. It really takes private and secure travel to the next level.”

With 245,000 square feet of concrete ramp, large hangars and on-site U.S. Customs, Orion Jet Center can accommodate any customer need. Only a 15-minute drive from Miami International Airport, Orion Jet Center provides an alternative with no air congestion, quick taxi times (averaging a minute or two) and plane-side rental car delivery. Staff members have years and years of experience – with more than a few boasting decades serving the corporate aviation industry.

“We really cater with white glove service,” said General Manager John Mason. Mason has been working in corporate and business aviation services for over 32 years.

Orion Jet Center is currently restoring a WWII former military hangar, and will soon break ground on a new state-of-the-art terminal and hangar facility, both scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010. The current terminal provides flat screen televisions, flight planning software, weather, a small pilot snooze room, snacks, beverages and more. Transportation for crews to nearby hotels is provided, and golf packages are given to visiting crews. A separate VIP terminal and hangar enables private and secure handling for those requiring special arrivals and departures.
