Onboard Digital Delivery System Makes its Debut at 2010 Aviation Expo

This new onboard digital additive delivery system has a “smart” life all its own, using technology at its best to deliver and monitor proper additive injection during each and every use. The vehicle-mounted Vision system brings real time transaction reporting, invoicing and inventory control benefits to users.

According to Carl Hammonds, company founder and president, this new addition to the Hammonds complete additive injector line is making the job of additive delivery easier and more accurate.

“The beauty of this new system is that it addresses issues of efficiency and accuracy,” Hammonds said. “It’s loaded with all the information a user would need about the type of additives selected, the quantity, the cost, the date and time – and every other detail important in an additive transaction.”

The Hammonds Vision system is compatible with FuelMaster® integrated fuel management systems for multiple additive injection. In fact, Hammonds announced that Vision is designed to operate seamlessly with future Air Force automated fuel truck multi-additive systems.

Here’s how it works: A color touch-screen operation panel is mounted inside the vehicle’s cab, allowing for precise control of all phases of fuel and additive interface. Transaction data includes customer ID, date and time, truck number, fuel delivered in gallons or liters, additive delivered in ounces, additive delivered in parts per million (ppm), and a record of any alarm events. All system operating parameters are password protected.

Like most Hammonds products, the Vision has few working parts and is simple and easy to install. It enables the operator to enjoy the benefits of additive delivery in an easy and convenient manner.
