Avfuel Corporation announced the addition of a new district manager to its sales staff. In his new position, Anthony Newcomb will take over fuel sales operations in the western U.S. Newcomb brings more than 12 years of aviation industry experience with him to Avfuel, as both pilot and aircraft sales professional. At Avfuel, Newcomb’s duties will focus on building relationships with Avfuel customers and prospects, to help increase their market share. |

Background: Having served in the U.S. Coast Guard for four years on both the east and west coasts, Newcomb went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics from the University of North Dakota. There, Newcomb learned the value of discipline, a strong work ethic and team work. Newcomb is a commercially rated pilot and flight instructor for both single instrument and multi-engine instrument aircraft. Newcomb’s grandfather and father instilled him with a love of aviation at a tender age in the family’s Cessna 172. Today he is active in his community, serving on several advisory boards in his home town. |
