Aircraft Interiors Expo Debates Industry Future
/The future of the world’s commercial airline and business aircraft industry will be debated by representatives of major industry airframe manufacturers and suppliers at the Aircraft Industry Expo scheduled for September 14 - 16 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif.
Representatives from Boeing, Airbus, B/E Aerospace, Lucintel and Regent Aerospace will form a panel to discuss and present their opinions on several key issues facing the commercial and business aviation industries.
Topics of interest will include:
- Where is the industry in terms of the current cycle?
- Do recent new aircraft orders suggest the beginning of an industry upturn?
- What initiatives were put in place during the economic downturn and what lessons can be taken forward?
- Is the virtual lack of commercial aircraft consolidation during the downturn a positive or negative for the industry?
One of several discussions planned for the three day Expo, the featured “Preparing for the Future” panel will include Bob Lange, Head of Airline Marketing, Airbus, Wayne Exton, Vice President Super First/VIP, B/E Aerospace; Reza Soltanian, President, Regent Aerospace; Sanjay Mazumdar, CEO, Lucintel, and a representative from the Boeing Market Analysis Group.
