Edwards Jet Center Reinforces Commitment to GA
/Edwards Jet Center has announced that it has acquired certain assets of the former FBO Corporate Jet, including their hangar, office and fuel farm at Billings Logan International Airport. This acquisition serves as yet another sign of Edwards Jet Center’s commitment to Billings and general aviation throughout the region.
“We have been focused on serving Billings, along with our predecessor Lynch Flying Service, through our full service FBO operation at BIL since 1948. During that time we have strived for excellence in our service to each of our aviation guests and the local community,” said Cliff Edwards, President of Edwards Jet Center, “The general aviation traffic into Billings is a critical element of corporate business and tourism to our region.”
EJC has achieved its excellent customer service and safety records through constantly reaching for a higher level in their team members. Each of EJC’s line service technicians have completed the industry recognized NATA Safety 1st Training and the company is one of several elite FBOs who have completed Air BP’s Customer Culture Academy. These trainings have instilled attention to details that keep their guests safe and set them apart as having some of the nation’s best customer service offered by an FBO.
“Air BP sees Edwards Jet Center as a prime example of a first class FBO that emulates the customer focused excellence we stress in our Customer Culture Academy training. They don’t just claim to have great service they live it and exude it every day to each customer on their ramp. They look to tools like the Sterling program to help customers realize their best price available and truly listen to unique needs as they arise,” said Steve McCullough, Vice President, Air BP Aviation Services.
The demands of general aviation as a 24/7/365 business has created a business environment where the team needs to be ready for customers at any time and are often required to meet very unique needs of passengers or crew members. Whether it is in line service, aircraft parts and maintenance, aircraft charter, air ambulance, or freight/parcel handling, Edwards Jet Center’s 68 full-time employees and 70 part-time employees stand ready to meet their customer’s needs.
“We have a long history in General Aviation with more than 50 years as NATA members and an NBAA member since 1992. Our business model is built on strong attention to detail and impeccable follow through. Ultimately it’s about making sure we do all we can to assure every customer has a positive experience when scheduling and while on the ground at BIL,” Edwards said.
