Jetex Announces VAT Exemption Program

Jetex Flight Support announced their new VAT program – a program established solely for the purpose of providing their clients with VAT exempted fuel.

Starting from July 10th, 2012, operators receiving fuel uplifts from Jetex Fueling Services Limited in the following eight countries will be eligible for participation in Jetex Fueling Services Limited VAT exemption program – Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Poland, and Switzerland. More countries will be added in due course.

Jetex Flight Support will continue to offer fueling services as well as complete flight support worldwide. However, fuel requests in the eight mentioned countries will be served directly through Jetex Fueling Services Limited. Through a system, clients will find out if they are exempted from VAT for these services.

“The aim of this program is to allow our clients to continue to enjoy our fuel at competitive prices, now with VAT exemption. We welcome these eight countries to our VAT program and the list will continue to grow” stated project manager, Ahmed Ghazal.

Requests will still be handled by Jetex Flight Support headquarters, even when the services are being provided by Jetex Fueling Services Limited. Jetex headquarters will remain the principle base of business and for client convenience; contact details will be taken from Jetex’s already existing database.

An advanced, yet simple to complete questionnaire has been implemented in the Jetex website. Through this system, a client’s VAT status (VAT exempt or not exempt) will be determined within minutes. Clients can simply contact Jetex for an access to the questionnaire, and answer a few short multiple choice questions, as well as attach the appropriate documents. In a matter of minutes, an email will be sent with the initial VAT status and provided relevant evidence has been supplied along with the form, a final answer will be given within 48 hours.
