NBAA Announces New Certified Aviation Managers
/Through the certification process, NBAA and the CAM Governing Board seek to raise the level of professionalism and quality of management within flight departments. The CAM Governing Board continues to demonstrate its mission of certifying the future of business aviation; certifying 20 new CAMs in 2012.
The new CAMs are:

• William Hart, maintenance technician, The Coca-Cola Company
• Chris Hogeboom, chief pilot, Corporate Aviation, Hess Corporation
• William E. Hunter, pilot, TWC Aviation

NBAA congratulates these business aviation professionals on their achievement. This brings the total number of individuals recognized as current CAMs to 194. These individuals have earned the use of the CAM designation and may use it when officially listing their name. The CAM designation provides industry recognition of their achievement and knowledge in the following areas of business aviation: business management, human resources, leadership, operations, and technical and facilities services.
To prepare for the CAM credential, the individuals met or exceeded minimum qualifications based upon experience, training and education. They completed both a formal application process and the CAM exam, which is offered throughout the year in a computer-based format.
