Hangar Ten Lands At Top Of Aviation Surveys
/As recorded by FltPlan.com in their annual Pilot’s Choice Awards, Hangar Ten was rated the number one facility in the North Central Region of the U.S. for the third consecutive year. In addition, the facility ranked third in Professional Pilot’s annual North America PRASE Survey and was recognized as an elite top 10 destination in the Western Hemisphere in the annual Americas survey recently completed by Aviation International News (AIN).
In general, the surveys rate approximately 2,000 aviation service facilities located in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South and Central America and the Caribbean. Business aviation pilots take part in the surveys that rate the various services available as well as facility amenities.
“Although our facility has been open for a relatively short time, the people of Hangar Ten have graciously showed a consistency in delivering our value oriented brand of customer service,” said Jim Stowers, owner of Hangar Ten. “Our customers really notice and over time have recommended our facility to others. We are fortunate to have this kind of success and our people make it happen.”
The 55,000 sq. ft. Hangar Ten aviation services complex is located at the Northwest end of the airport. The modern facility is a cultural and design departure from traditional airport service operations combining a blend of gracious Midwest hospitality, unique customer amenities and bold environmentally friendly elements.
Kyle Eiserer, General Manager of Hangar 10, said customers enjoy the unique aspects of the facility that includes a two story, 26,000 sq. ft. executive terminal punctuated by several crew rest areas including hotel-style pilot overnight rooms that double as day quarters.
“A big hit, especially with our transient customers, is our large, fully equipped fitness center that includes separate men’s and women’s locker rooms fitted with showers,” Eiserer said. “Flight crews find this feature relaxing and refreshing after a long flight.
