Russia to host its first official FORMULA 1 Grand Prix in Sochi

In October 2014 a long-cherished dream of millions of Russians will come true. Russia will host its first official FORMULA 1 Grand Prix.

This will be a great event is sure to be exciting. The upcoming event in Sochi is the 16th round of 2014 World Championship. Race weekend includes support races – rounds of GP2 and GP3 racing series. Participation of a Russian driver Daniil Kvyat makes the race competition even more spectacular.

Guests and participants of the 2014 FORMULA 1 RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX will enjoy the unique combination of authentic subtropical climate, developed resort infrastructure and impressive landscapes of snowy mountain peaks. It is more than just a race. There will be concerts with celebrities, parties, fascinated nightlife – that is what makes it special. It will happen only once, so please join this memorable motorsport event.​

All business and private flights will be serviced through Sochi International Airport, which operated close to its maximum capacity by serving close to 200 non-regular flights for the Sochi Olympics. Streamline OPS would like to inform you that for the period of Formula 1 event, the Sochi Airport will have some restrictions about parking availability. More detailed information and officially issued NOTAMs will be shown closer to the dates. In anticipation of the event, we kindly ask you to plan your flight schedule in advance.

We also remind you that new VIP Terminal was launched at Sochi in the end of 2013. The terminal, featuring modern equipment, is conveniently located adjacent to the main airport complex. It has its own exit from the highway to Sochi, dedicated parking, comfortable waiting lounge and five isolated meeting rooms to ensure privacy and made for the most demanding passengers.
