Air Elite Network Board Elects New Chairman and Vice Chairman
/World Fuel Services announced today that the Air Elite® Network board recently elected a new Chairman and Vice Chairman to the Air Elite Network board, while filling additional Board Member positions opened by the growth of the network.
Larry Wade of Golden Isles Aviation (KSSI) in St. Simons Island, Ga., the former Vice Chairman, was elected as Chairman. This came following the end of the term of service for the former Chairman, Landon Petty of Louisiana Aircraft (KBTR) in Baton Rouge, La. With Larry Wade’s former position of Vice Chairman left vacant, the board elected Will Holroyd of Harrods Aviation (EGGW & EGSS) in London, UK, as the new Vice Chairman.
Additionally, one U.S. and one Non-U.S. Board Member positions were allocated and filled via a network-wide open nomination period, followed by an election. Prajeet Pareparambil of Royal Jet (OMAA) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, was elected as the Non-U.S. Board Member and Jeff Jackson of Jackson Jet Center (KBOI) in Boise, Idaho, as the U.S. Board Member. Both will represent the Air Elite membership for a three year term.
The Air Elite Network is committed to growing the size and composition of its board in order to emulate the membership and growth of the network as a whole. Air Elite Board representation aligns with the locations and demographics of the network membership for the betterment of the programs and direction of the network. The Air Elite Network board is comprised of six members from the global network of FBOs along with one World Fuel Services representative and plays a key role in the development of the service standards and strategies for the future.
The Air Elite Network includes 31 member FBO locations worldwide. The network was established in late 2011 and each FBO must meet a number of airport, facility and service quality standards to qualify for membership.
