The Paragon Network “Thinks Pink” During Breast Cancer Awareness Month
/The Paragon Network has initiated a “Think Pink” campaign during October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer in women. About one in eight women born today in the United States will be diagnosed with Breast cancer at some point in their life. This disease has become very personal to many of us as we have seen our grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts or friends affected.
To raise awareness, participating members of the Paragon Network will be handing out “Think Pink” bracelets. In addition, a portion of their fuel or service revenue will be donated to organizations supporting prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
“I am very proud to be associated with this generous group of independent FBOs,” said Megan Barnes of Paragon Aviation Group. “We want to help spread the word that many women can not only survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early, but also prevent it through self-examinations and regular screenings.”
Paragon Aviation Group will also be making a donation for every FBO survey completed during the month of October. Visit Paragon Network locations to show your support!
