Kearney Aviation Center (KAC) at Kearney Regional Airport (KEAR) recently expanded operations and will now be the exclusive FBO on the field. Kearney Regional is a leading general aviation airport for central Nebraska pilots and businesses as well as a favorite fuel stop for many cross-country travelers.
After opening its doors almost five years ago, KAC continued to grow its customer base of pilots flying into the vibrant city of Kearney and soon became the FBO of choice. Now the sole fuel and services provider at KEAR, Kearney Aviation Center reports that further development projects are on the horizon. “We have consistently added new services and facility enhancements since our start in 2011 and will continue to do our best to support and exceed the needs of our customers with every convenience,” says Steve Cole, General Manager. “Our next focus will be a complete ramp restoration initiative.”
With a true passion for aviation and a drive to provide unparalleled service, KAC has broken the mold for typical FBO operations. Having flown extensively throughout the United States, owner, Phil Jossi, notes, “Pilots know that it is difficult to find fair pricing and high-quality service at mid-size FBOs. We pride ourselves on providing just that.”
Owned and operated by aviation enthusiasts, KAC is a full-service FBO and caters to even the most discerning pilot and passenger. Heated hangars, hotel discounts, lav, oxygen and de-ice services are available. KAC specializes in quick-turns and endorses the maintenance facility on the premises. Other offerings include Part 135 SEL on-demand charter as well as aircraft purchase and sales assistance. Guests have access to executive conference facilities, courtesy cars and catering. Kearney Aviation Center is also the home of the University of Nebraska Kearney flight training base and offers flight and ground instruction.
KAC is an Avfuel FBO providing Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP rewards on fuel.
