1) What sets your company apart from the competition?
Service, Service, Service! Our mission is to provide our guests with the finest quality of customer service along with the highest level of safety. MAC Air Group offers a complete line of aviation services including: aircraft charter, aircraft sales, aircraft management, aircraft maintenance. In July 2016, we added a brand new 43,000 square foot office building and heated hangar on the south side of the Portland International Jetport.
Location, Location, Location! Our state-of-the-art FBO, MAC Jets, allows the quickest access to downtown Portland, the waterfront and interstate highways. We offer our guests every aviation service needed along with the comforts of a luxurious, private facility.
2) How do you attract new customers?
In order to attract new customers, we are redefining the FBO experience in PWM. With nearly 60 years of experience, the family at MAC Jets exudes a passion for providing exceptional aviation experiences by focusing on quality customer service, reliability and safety.

Everything at MAC Jets is brand new. Make your next visit to PWM a new one.
4) What services/amenities do you provide?
Pilots, crew and passengers enjoy a spacious elegant lobby, modern executive meeting and conference rooms. They can also enjoy a complimentary coffee and snack bar, a comfortable pilot lounge, crew snooze room, pilot briefing room, fitness facilities and shower amenities along with the safety of a new 30,000 square foot heated hangar and 24-hour security. In addition there are crew cars, a passenger van and rental cars on site. Our professional customer service and line service teams are ready to make every visit a memorable experience.
5) What is the date your company started your business?
In 1947, brothers Joe and Tom Caruso, who were just out of the military after World War II, started flying scenic flights from Southwest Harbor Maine. By their third year, the brothers leased the Bar Harbor Airport and found a permanent home for their aviation business. Then, in 1959, Joe Caruso moved his family to Portland where he established Maine Aviation Corporation, now known as MAC Air Group.
