ABSG Completes IS-BAH Audit of Sonoma Jet Center
/Aviation Business Strategies Group (ABSG) has successfully completed an International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) registration audit for Sonoma Jet Center, a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) located at the Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma Country Airport (STS), Santa Rosa, CA.
Sonoma Jet Center (SJC) is a leading provider of FBO Services in the celebrated California wine region of Sonoma and Napa Counties. SJC is on target to be the first FBO in Northern California to achieve the IS-BAH registration designation.
"At Sonoma Jet Center, we make safety and security a priority for both our customers and our employees," said Josh Hochberg, SJC President. "The IS-BAH registration audit process has helped us set even higher standards and confirms our commitment to provide the safest possible operating environment."
General Manager Al Musetti said he very much appreciated the efforts of Aviation Business Strategies Group's Principal John Enticknap for his insight and assistance throughout the audit process. "The IS-BAH registration designation provides a high level of comfort for existing and potential customers who rely on us for thecae and safety of their aircraft, crew and passengers," Musetti explained.
IS-BAH was established through the efforts of the International Aviation Business Council (IBAC) and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) as a global code to identify and promote the use of industry best practices by means of a progressive Safety Management System (SMS) for both FBOs and Business Aircraft Handling Agencies (BAHA). It follows the structure of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) and the NATA Safety 1st Ground Audit Program.
According to Enticknap, an IS-BAH accredited auditor, the next step will be for IBAC to formally authorize the IS-BAH™ registration designation for SJC.
