Swift Aircraft Management Achieves IS-BAO Registration

Swift Aircraft Management (PHX) has achieved the  International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) registration. This is a significant accomplishment and they are extremely proud of their management and personnel who invested considerable time and personal effort to develop and implement this world-class business aviation code of practice.

IS-BAO is modeled on the ISO 9000 family of standards.  It requires development of programs, systems, processes and procedures to meet safety and security standards.  The organizational, maintenance, operational, training and security requirements are based on international standards and industry best practices.  The foundation of IS-BAO is the development of a safety management system to assess and mitigate the risks encountered in our flight operations.  An independent audit validated the entire process.

In achieving this registration milestone, Swift Aircraft Management has joined the expanding list of flight departments and operators around the world that have taken the initiative to implement the IS-BAO to manage the safety, security, efficiency and effectiveness of their operations.
