Construction Underway for Marathon Aviation (KMTH)

Marathon Aviation broke ground on a new FBO and hangar complex for Florida Keys travelers. Newly unveiled plans include an Ernest Hemingway-inspired FBO facility with relaxation and recreation areas, and outdoor viewing decks. The exterior and interior are designed with Key West chic charm. The new hangar, with 28 ft. doors, is conveniently located for easy taxiway, runway, and highway access. Construction is led by AMH Construction, an Orlando based construction firm, while the design was a culmination of efforts by Becci Meier, Becci Meier Designs. Foundation work has started, and construction will continue throughout the rest of 2019 with an anticipated opening in early 2020.
