Flightstar Receives FAA Approval for Gogo AVANCE L5 in Learjet 40/70 Series

Flightstar Corporation has received FAA approval for Gogo Business Aviation AVANCE L5 equipment installation in the Bombardier Learjet 40, 45, 70, and 75 aircraft. The Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) ST04479CH was awarded to Flightstar Corporation on September 9, 2020. 

This STC allows for the installation of two external antennas with Flightstar fuselage adapters, eight internal antennas, and the mounting of the LRU and ACM in the lavatory baggage area. Included is a one-time use of the Flightstar Wi-Fi Activation STC (ST04439CH).

Gogo AVANCE L5 accesses the Gogo 4G ground network to deliver faster speeds and enhanced network capability. This system enables a more robust experience for activities such as streaming video and audio, on-demand movies, personal smartphone use, and real-time data for cockpit apps while in flight.
