Jet MS Acquires RAS Group at EGKB

Jet MS, a global provider of base and line maintenance services for business and regional aircraft, and part of Avia Solutions Group, has acquired the UK-based RAS Group, comprising of RAS Completions Limited and RAS Interiors Limited. RAS Group is a long-established aircraft interior, exterior, and completions company specializing in interior repairs, manufacturing, and exterior paint refinishing for both VIP and Commercial aircraft.

Founded in 1996, RAS Group is based at London Biggin Hill Airport (EGKB). RAS Group’s range of aviation services include aircraft exteriors, VIP and business jet interiors, commercial interiors, paintwork protection, aircraft interior design, aircraft seating, helicopter painting, military aircraft painting and coatings, aircraft galleys, and cabin stowage.

Only 12 miles from Canary Wharf and 15 miles from Central London, London Biggin Hill Airport is one of the busiest private airports in Europe. In terms of total aircraft movements in 2020, London Biggin Hill ranked second in the UK after Farnborough and sixth in the continent overall. The airport boasts a thriving ecosystem of resident aviation companies and is home to Bombardier’s European service center, a 23,000 square meter world-class facility capable of servicing as many as 14 Global 7500 aircraft simultaneously.

In addition to RAS Group’s suite of interior and completion services, Jet MS plans to expand the offering to include base maintenance, line maintenance, and spare parts trading services to its clients.
