You Spin; A Charity Wins: Avfuel Organizes Philanthropy at SDC

While attendees spin through the Avfuel Aisles at NBAA’s Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference, they can also choose to take Avfuel’s in-booth Peloton for a spin, helping to raise money for Patriot PAWS Service Dogs.

At SDC2022, Avfuel will make a donation to Patriot PAWS based on energy output—measured in kilojoules—from the Peloton’s use. Avfuel pledges to donate $1 for each kilojoule produced during the show from cycle trainers, attendees and exhibitors alike.

Patriot PAWS operates with a mission to train and provide high-quality service dogs at no cost to disabled American veterans, as well as others with mobile disabilities, to help restore their physical and emotional independence.

The activity is one of several philanthropic initiatives Avfuel has organized in the past six months. Other initiatives included: sponsoring the NBAA YoPros’ SDC2022 Day of Service facilitated by San Diego Coastkeeper; supporting veterans entering the aviation industry with a charity promotion at NBAA-BACE 2021; a donation to Michigan Medicine on behalf of its customers to support its Multidisciplinary Post COVID-19 Clinic for adults; and its annual Adopt-a-Family fundraiser, organized by Avfuel employees in support of local families.

SDC attendees are encouraged to visit Avfuel in booth #1946 to take a spin on the Peloton and support Patriot PAWS. In nearby booth #1949, attendees can pick up a shopping pass for Avfuel’s popular Fuel Your Style activity, learn how to take a Peloton or Dyson Airwrap home, and learn more about Avfuel’s array of aviation services.
