Ross Aviation Acquires Air Service Hawaii
/Ross Aviation’s renowned flight hospitality is coming to Hawaii, as the company announced its acquisition of Air Service Hawaii and its six-location FBO network in the islands. This acquisition increases the number of Ross Aviation locations to 25, and significantly establishes an important foothold for the brand in the Western Pacific.
Air Service Hawaii has been in operation since 1948 and boasts a rich history of success that’s filled with as much adventure and color as the islands themselves. Its locations today include Honolulu (PHNL), Lanai (PHNY), Maui (OGG), Hilo (PHTO), Kauai (LIH) and Kona (KOA). The company has brought many aviation firsts to the islands, recently including the first business jet hangar and FBO terminal at Kona International Airport. The new 38,000 square foot hangar in Kona will accommodate large cabin aircraft, and the new 5,000 square foot FBO will feature a host of amenities – from on-site catering to concierge services for crews and passengers.
Both new structures will be completed this year.
