Established in 1911, Hamburg Airport (EDDH) in Hamburg, Germany, was primarily used for airship flights when it first opened. In 1948, it was used as a staging area during the Berlin Airlift. The airport has grown to 10 times its original geographic size and handles over 15 million commercial passengers yearly. It is also a thriving business aviation airport with four full-service FBOs.
