Vienna Aircraft Handling becomes Vienna Airport FBO

While its previous name focused entirely on aircraft handling, Vienna Airport FBO's new name better highlights its range of services. "Our customers receive all FBO services from a single source and appreciate the particularly high quality and simple processing," Michael Zach and Christoph Schmidt, the two managing directors, emphasized. "We offer everything from high-quality passenger handling and lounges to office and hangar rental and aircraft refueling. And in doing so, together with our partners, we are also pleased to have sustainable aviation fuels available to help reduce the carbon footprint in business aviation,” continues Michael Zach

"As a subsidiary of Flughafen Wien AG, we have also been running our operations completely CO²-neutral since the beginning of 2023," Christoph Schmidt is also pleased to report. "And our conversion to a modern and comfortable e-vehicle fleet, which we can charge with solar power from the airport's own largest PV plant in Austria, is in full swing."

The new company name is accompanied by a change in the logo, which is now aligned with the appearance of the Flughafen Wien Group. "In this way, we are placing our affiliation with the parent company and our extensive expertise at the center of our brand," the two managing directors agree.
