New Million Air Facility in San Bernardino Welcomes New Base Tenant
/Million Air, one of the largest private fixed base operator aviation service companies in the world, announced its opening for March 2010 of its newly constructed FBO, to be located in the recently redeveloped international airport in San Bernardino, Calif.
Southeastern Jet Corporation, a premium aircraft management company, celebrates its 40th anniversary by relocating from its Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., based headquarters to Million Air San Bernardino. Southeastern Jet was enticed to the area by the opening of Million Air San Bernardino and the newly renovated airport and the economic incentives offered by Local Agency Military Base Recovery Area (LAMBRA), which will significantly lower its operating costs.
“During this very difficult economic period, Southeastern Jet recognized the need for its current and future clients to operate their aircraft in the most cost efficient manner possible without compromising service,” said Pete Loncteaux, owner and CEO of Southeastern Jet. “Our improved economic efficiencies can now be passed on to our clients.”
Presidential Aviation, Inc., will join Southeastern Jet to provide VIP private jet charter services on the west coast to complement Southeastern Jet’s value offerings. The two companies have a long-standing business relationship dating to Presidential Aviation’s inception in 1998.
“Together we believe that San Bernardino International Airport is the future of general aviation services for the greater Los Angeles metro area,” Loncteaux said.
