Lider Aviacao Opens FBO in Rio de Janeiro

Lider Aviacao has opened the first FBO at Antonio Carlos Jobim/Galeao/Rio de Janeiro International Airport (SBGL), the major international entry point in Rio, in time for the 2016 Olympic Games.

The FBO occupies 10,000 square meters and can accommodate large business jets. The facility offers these amenities and services:

  • Passenger, crew and luggage inspection area
  • Office space
  • VIP rooms
  • Suites
  • Conference rooms
  • Pilot lounge
  • Flight planning rooms
  • Coffee shop
  • Private parking

With the addition of the FBO at Galeao, Lider says it is now "the only business aviation company with its own infrastructure and services in the three Rio de Janeiro Airports."
